Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields stepped down on Saturday following Friday’s fatal incident.
“Out of a deep and abiding love for this City and this department, I offered to step aside as police chief,” she said in a statement. “I have faith in the Mayor, and it is time for the city to move forward and build trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve.”
Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) on Saturday called for the firing of the officer who shot Brooks:

Domani è un altro giorno.
Ecco perché i poliziotti italiani non reagiscono alle umiliazioni dei negri, perché pensano solo al loro stipendiuccio ed alla immeritata pensione. Bene, bene, che vengano umiliati di continuo, peccato solo che il coronavirus non è poi così pericoloso, ma l’importante è che ne siano terrorizzati. Mannaggia che qui non ci siano abbastanza negri che spaccano tutto, almeno farebbero qualcosa ora che gli incontri di calcio sono a porte chiuse.
Praticamente ormai non si può più arrestare un nero. Possono rubare, spacciare, violentare, aggredire, picchiare, uccidere forse, e ‘siccome sono nero’, dicono, ‘posso’.
E la polizia che ha paura della politica e dei manifestanti delinquenti e della reazione armata dei clan mafiosi neri, si adegua.
Non sarebbe neppure troppo un male se si facessero del tutto da parte, il problema è che se un nero viene ‘fermato’ durante queste preziose attività dalla vittima, armata o meno che sia, partirebbe la reazione inevitabile di tutto l’estabilishment. Ricordate Mancini a Fermo, arrestato, messo alla gogna, incarcerato, minacciato e tuttora in pericolo per essersi difeso a mani nude.
