Secondo un rapporto delle Nazioni Unite, ci sono informazioni “chiare e convincenti” che alcune donne e bambini tenuti in ostaggio da Hamas sono stati sottoposti a stupri e torture sessuali⁹. Almeno 10 degli ostaggi israeliani liberati da Hamas, sia uomini che donne, sono stati aggrediti o abusati sessualmente durante la loro prigionia[^10^]. Queste testimonianze sono state confermate da un medico che ha curato alcuni degli ostaggi liberati[^10^].
