Ricordate l’idea di Facebook di ‘flaggare’ le notizie di siti indipendenti come ‘fake news’, e di affidare questo servizietto ad una società direttamente riconducibile a Soros? Beh, pare che più una notizia è ‘flaggata’ come fake news, e più gli utenti la credano vera, anche quando (e i casi ovviamente ci sono) non lo è:
Facebook is getting rid of its fake news red flags because they were making fabricated media reports appear more believable to its users.
The social network began showing “disputed” warnings next to articles in December to alert people that third party fact-checking websites deemed them misleading.
It will now show a selection of “related articles” next to offending stories instead. These will give more context and could help people learn the facts surrounding a situation through reputable media publications.
The U-turn was prompted by research suggesting users would actually believe fake news even if it was flagged as incorrect or a misleading.
In sostanza, il Sistema è talmente delegittimato, da rendere legittima qualsiasi notizia, anche la più falsa. Sembra di rivivere la caduta del Comunismo nell’Europa orientale.
Alla fine Facebook ha deciso, per disperazione, di rinunciare, farà apparire al posto del ‘flag’ notizie correlate. Che poi è quello che Vox fa da tempo con il ‘fact checking’ delle proprie notizie: una carrellata della stessa notizia su altri siti. Il lettore decide poi chi dice o meno la verità, se chi mette la Libia nel Canale di Sicilia o noi.
