L’attrice neozelandese Lucy Lawless, protagonista della serie tv ‘Xena, la principessa guerriera’, in vacanza a Lucca, ha postato su Facebook il racconto di un episodio di razzismo di alcuni ragazzi italiani nei confronti di un immigrato a cui avrebbe assistito e di come sia intervenuta.

Un altro ragazzo si accoda e un terzo, urlando and applaudendo minacciosamente”. “Veramente orribile”, racconta la Lawless di aver detto loro in italiano. “Se fossi stata più pronta e se avessi parlato meglio l’italiano – scrive l’attrice su Facebook – avrei spiegato loro con calma che in passato gli italiani stessi erano stati immigrati in altri paesi e che il loro atteggiamento di stasera è un forma di terrorismo”.
Detto da chi ha fregato il paese ai Maori non è male. Voi neozelandesi siete stati immigrati, non voluti, molto prima di noi. Noi, invece, non abbiamo mai occupato il paese degli altri, e dove siamo andati era perché venivamo richiesti. Ovviamente è difficile da spiegare ad un’attrice che pensa la mitologia greca sia quella raccontata nel suo telefilm.
