Tamerlan Tsarnaev, uno dei due fratelli ceceni identificati come i terroristi della maratona di Boston, ucciso nello scontro con la polizia, era un pugile islamico “molto religioso” che desiderava l’indipendenza cecena. Entrato negli Stati Uniti come “rifugiato” perché considerato come islamico perseguitato dai Russi in Cecenia.
Suo fratello, che è ancora in fuga, si chiama Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev era studente al Bunker Hill Community College.
Secondo altri studenti, la sua “religiosità” gli impediva di bere , fumare o rimuovere la camicia con donne presenti.
Queste le sue frasi raccolte dai media americani:
“Non ho un solo amico americano. Io non li capisco, ”
“Grazie alle leggi americane prenderò la cittadinanza Usa”
“Dio ha detto di no all’alcool”. Disse un’altra volta.
“La mia fidanzata è bellissima, è mezza portoghese e mezza italiana , l’ho fatta convertire all’Islam”.
Non è chiaro chi sia la sua fidanzata e se esistesse davvero, queste sono le frasi dette dall’attentatore ad alcuni studenti della scuola che frequentava.
AGGIORNAMENTO:si è scoperto che la sua “fidanzata” è in realtà la moglie con la quale si è sposato dopo la conversione segreta della giovane. Non ha origini italiane.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev ha una figlia di tre anni con una studentessa di college che si è convertito all’Islam.
La convertita si chiama Katherine Russell, qui ripresa nel Rhode Island, fuori dalla casa della sua famiglia.

Tamerlan says he could be selected for the US Olympic team and be naturalized American.Tamerlan fled Chechnya with his family because of the conflict in the early 90s, and lived for years in Kazakhstan before getting to the United States as a refugee.Tamerlan says he loves the movie “Borat,” even though some of the jokes are a bit too much.
Tamerlan says he doesn’t usually take his shirt off so girls don’t get bad ideas: “I’m very religious.”
Tamerlan says he doesn’t drink or smoke anymore: “God said no alcohol.” A muslim, he says: “There are no values anymore,” and worries that “people can’t control themselves.”
Tamerlab says his girlfriend is half Portuguese, half Italian girlfriend and converted to Islam: “She’s beautiful, man!”
A native of Chechnya, Tamerlan says: “In Russia, we used to train like this. Here nobody does it, I don’t know why!”
